Our commitment
Aura Dental Studio is committed to making this website usable by everyone, including people who browse with a screen reader, navigate by keyboard alone, rely on magnification, or need reduced motion. Accessibility is treated as part of the site, not as an add-on.
The standard we aim for
We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA — the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines published by the World Wide Web Consortium, and the benchmark generally used to judge whether a website is accessible under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
What we have done
- Text and interface colours are checked against the WCAG contrast minimums.
- Every page can be operated with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator and a skip link that jumps straight to the main content.
- Images that carry meaning have text alternatives; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Headings are ordered, and page structure uses real landmarks rather than styling alone.
- The moving background on the home page can be paused, and is not shown at all if your device is set to reduce motion.
- Form fields carry visible labels, and errors are announced as well as shown.
- Pages reflow to a single column on small screens and at high zoom, without horizontal scrolling.
These are verified with automated testing across every page of the site, at both desktop and mobile sizes, alongside a manual keyboard review.
Where we fall short
We are not claiming perfection. Automated testing catches a great deal but not everything, and no page has been reviewed by an independent auditor. Content published by third parties — a map, or a page we link out to — is outside our control and may not meet the same standard.
One of those is embedded rather than linked, so it is worth naming. The payment-plan estimator on our payment plans page, and the button that opens it on some other pages, are made by Cherry Technologies, Inc. We test those pages the same way as every other page, and they pass. But the tool itself is Cherry's, and if a future version of it stops meeting the standard we can remove it, not repair it. Tell us and we will.
